I love wine, but need some help...

Hi all. I'm hoping to get some help with choosing wine for a wedding. I'm looking for a mild red and maybe two light whites. The event is in the afternoon in August in Nevada City, Ca. so it will likely be warm outside. We're having salmon and chicken (not sure how it's being prepared). I'm thinking between $10-$15 a bottle. Any suggestions??? Thank you.
